FAMILY COUNSELING

Family counseling will help family members cultivate better relationships and understanding among one another. Counseling  may be triggered by a specific incident, as for example during a divorce, or the approaching death of an aging or ill parent. Alternately, it may address the needs of the family when one family member suffers from a mental or physical illness that alters his or her behavior or habits in negative ways.

The definition of family is defined by your own perception. Family has as many different meanings as the all the different types of families that are out there. My main objective is to enable families and individuals to face the challenges of today’s society through therapy, education and support. I will sit and talk with you to help you gain insight into your issues. Once the core issues are identified and explored, I can help you learn coping techniques and develop strategies to get your life moving in a positive direction.

We  provide professional counseling for a broad spectrum of challenges and concerns that you may face. You may be dealing with family stresses as a result of a job loss. Perhaps your child is trying to cope with cyber bullying issues that are becoming prevalent on social media sites. Or maybe a loved one is fighting with a clinical issue such as depression or anxiety.
