Psychotherapist
Hello!
Hello I am Kiana. I am a dedicated pre-licensed therapist and licensed alcohol and drug counselor with extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families facing mental health and substance use challenges. As a faith-based therapist, I integrate spiritual principles with evidence-based practices to help clients achieve healing and balance in every aspect of their lives.
With over a decade in human services, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, from teenagers to older adults, focusing on underserved populations often overlooked by society. My holistic approach addresses the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual components of well-being, empowering clients to make meaningful changes that align with their values and goals.
My practice combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused techniques. I specialize in working with individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, offering recovery groups, educational workshops, and individualized care tailored to their needs.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Argosy University Twin Cities and a Master's in Clinical Counseling from Saint Mary’s University. My goal is to continue supporting clients in building resilience, achieving emotional and spiritual growth, and leading fulfilling lives.
Whether you’re navigating mental health challenges, addiction, or seeking spiritual growth, I’m here to walk alongside you on your journey to healing and transformation.
